Lara Randolph has been performing since the ripe old age of two. Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma she started studying dance at Miss Shelly’s School of Dance. From childhood through high school, Lara studied ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip hop and performed locally throughout Tulsa with the Tulsa Ballet and the South Tulsa Children’s Ballet. She also competed and choreographed for her high school pom squad. Following high school, Lara spent three summers at Radio City Music Hall in New York City at the Rockette Summer Intensive studying the world-famous Radio City Rockette precision technique. It is there that she grew to love the art of classic and precision jazz/music theatre. In December 2013, she graduated with a B.F.A. in Dance Performance from the University of Central Oklahoma, where she was a member of their Kaleidoscope Dance Company for three years. During her time at UCO, she choreographed numerous pieces, all with varying dance styles such as classic jazz, hip hop, modern, contemporary and more. Recently she has been seen dancing on Oklahoma City stages, performing in Poteet Theatre’s Disney Magic, Summerstock Productions’ Guys and Dolls, Poteet Theatre’s Thoroughly Modern Millie (Dance Captain), Jewel Box Theatre’s A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and Summerstock Productions’ Kiss Me, Kate (Dance Captain). She also teaches Vintage Jazz at Teaze Dance and Fitness, sign up for the class here. Off stage, Lara works as a graphic designer.
